About this treatment
Microneedling is used to treat and improve conditions like acne scarring, fine lines and wrinkles, loose skin, skin texture, pore size, brown spots, stretch marks, and pigment issues. It's also called skin needling, collagen induction therapy (CIT), and percutaneous collagen induction (PCI).

How do I cause trauma to your skin?
I will do the Microneedling with a Microneedling Pen, also called Derma Roller which has needles and I will prick your skin between 0,5 - 1,5 mm deep. Don't be afraid because you feel nothing of the pricking as I will numb your skin with an anaesthesia cream before.

How long does the treatment take and when do you see results from skin needling?
Depending on the condition treated it may take around 90 minutes to complete the procedure. A minimum of 30 days is recommended between two treatments as it takes that long for new natural collagen to form. It is recommended to have 3-5 Treatments to have a final result but you will already feel quickly after the treatment that something was done. Clients explain it like the feel of a face lift. Give your skin time to heal properly and to get back into shape.
What should you be aware of after the treatment?
Please realize that your skin needs to relax a bit. You will be red for about 48 hours. Almost like a sun burn, but no pain, no bruises or bleeding! Don't use make up for that time and drink a lot of water, no sport, sauna or pools are recommended. We want your skin to recover fast.
If it's sunny please use a sun blocker of 30 after the 48 hours.
